The heat alarm device sounds a loud warning signal at its mounting location when a specific thermal limit value is exceeded. The alarm message is also forwarded to the alarm system control panel. The heat alarm device surveilles an area of approx. 40 square meters at a mounting height of up to six meters.
Heat alarm devices are used in rooms where the formation of steam and fumes (kitchen, bathroom etc.) make the use of conventional smoke alarm devices impractical or may even lead to false alarms. The heat alarm device is battery-powered and operates autonomously. The integrated connection module BUS-1 forwards alarms from the heat alarm device to the intruder alarm control panel. Furthermore, the warning device of the heat alarm device can be activated via BUS-1 (interconnection).
